Ethics Unplugged: Ethics & Kink Dialogue Part II
Hey heyyy fellow magi,
It’s ya boi, the Majestic Maij here.
I’m not going to lie, today has been EMOTIONALLY heavy for me. It’s one of those, “just feel through and see to it” types of days, where the waters inside of me reach a bubbling point, a boiling point, a point of internal contention and release that needs letting go.
As I’m typing this newsletter post for today, I am most certainly listening to Kehlani’s new gem, “Sucia” with Jill Scott and Young Miko. If you haven’t heard it, hear it and let the sensual medicine wash over you.
When I get like this, when I get this way, I throw myself into my work. Not in the “let’s ignore what’s coming up” type of way but in the “mmmmmhm let’s massage this shit out” type of way. There’s just something deeply inspiring about creating gems out of internal pressures building up inside of you.
Because what this world ain’t about to do is make me resistant to my own medicine.
Today’s antidote comes in the form of part II of my “Ethics Unplugged: Ethics and Kink” conversation with the New York Society of Ethical Culture. For folks who missed part I/need more context, the overall goal of this series was to invite community to “explore the power of pleasure in the many forms it reveals itself to us embodied beings.”
Part I was energetic, sexy ass mindfuckery that explodes standard understandings, notions, and interpretations of BDSM and kink.
Part II, which is linked here for your personal viewing pleasure, has a more somber, murmuring type of energy— it flows from the deepest, quietest parts of my sensual wisdom.
Things you can expect in this video:
More singing, laughter, reflection, and meditation on the role pleasure and desire occupy in our lives
A complexifying of Domme and sub power dynamics in BDSM and kink
A reimagination of the function of control in not just kink/BDSM, but neurodivergent existence (as someone who lives with a cauldron of neurodivergent experiences such as Bipolar, ADHD, and OCD
Dialogue on the intersections between Love and BDSM
Take pauses as needed as you listen to the dialogue. Let it swim in your body, do backflips, spread out, and sink into your spirit.
If you skip to the end, you will be taken through a soft meditation from myself, inviting you to reflect upon some questions I offer to folks who are interested in beginning their own sex/sens/ual healing journey:
What feels good to you?
What is a desire, fantasy, experience, sensation, a feeling that you’ve always dreamed about, had curiosity about, thought about that you might be denying yourself at this moment?
What does this desire/fantasy/experience sensation feel like, smell like, taste like?
If it had a gasp what would that gasp sound like?
If it had a moan, what kind of moan would it emit?
If it had a color, what color would it take on?
If it had a shape, what shape would it mold itself into?
If it had a texture, what textures would brush across your skin?
What does your body yearn for?
What does your tongue desperately thirst to taste?
What do your eyes, your ears, your hands, your hips, your body want to devour?
If nobody was watching or judging— what do you want?
Feel empowered to share your reflections as you feel led in the comments.
If you are interested in 1:1 development coaching around your own sex/sens/ual liberation ethics, feel empowered to tap in below and schedule that consulting appointment and/or your first L.E.S.S is More session today!

In radical care and tenderness,
The Majestic Maij
